What are the benefits to BYCF?

All donations to the Britannia Yacht Club Foundation help maintain and shape our Club for the future. By planning your gift now, you can leave a lasting legacy. The BYC Foundation is structured to receive all present and future donations in a single legal administrative structure so it can accommodate a variety of donations, gifts and bequests that serve the best interest of the BYC membership and their families.

 

What are the benefits to me?

No matter the reason, there is a common thread running through all donations - a desire to make a personal commitment that will live on forever. Depending on your situation there may be tax or other savings that only your accountant could advise you on

 

How can I give?

There are many different ways to contribute; by making a monetary donation; by leaving a bequest in your will; by purchasing a life insurance; by arranging an annuity or giving some set amount (on some set timing). 

 

Can my gift remain anonymous?

Should you wish your gift to remain anonymous, information is strictly confidential and limited to need to know corporate individuals (i.e., Treasurer, who deposits the donation). Information regarding anonymous contributions remain anonymous!  

 

Should I get advice? 

When considering a donation to the Foundation, we encourage you to consult with your financial and legal advisors and include your family in the discussion.
